All published HVAC SEO pricing comes from agencies describing their own services. None of it is independent market data, and Google gives no cost or timeline figures for SEO. Use the ranges below as a sanity check when you get quotes, not as a benchmark of what results cost.
Nopio's tiers are Basic $750 to $1,500 per month, Standard $1,500 to $3,500 and Comprehensive $3,500 to $5,000+, with $1,500 to $5,000 as the "most common" range. Nopio says agencies charging under $500 per month "lack viable economics." Built-Right Digital gives $1,000 to $5,000 per month with no tiers or sources on the page. Dagmar quotes $1,500 to $2,300 per month per physical location, with citations at $50 to $150 per month, local link building at $500 to $1,500+ per month, and per-location recurring work at $750 to $1,500 per month. Web Tonic, citing PipelineOn, gives a $1,500 to $3,500 per month retainer.
Search summaries of other pages gave $750 to $8,500 per month overall, single-location $1,500 to $3,500, multi-location $3,500 to $5,500, and competitive metros $3,500 to $7,000. These were not individually verified.
On overall marketing budget, search summaries say the SBA recommends 7 to 8% of gross revenue for businesses under $5M in sales. The page that surfaced was a secondary one (smallbusiness.chron.com), and the figure was not confirmed on sba.gov.
On return, Nopio cites First Page Sage's 2026 ROAS report at $9.10 for every $1 invested in SEO, and $12 to $15 or more for well-run campaigns. PipelineOn cites a median SEO ROI of 27.46x (Q4 2025, about 1,000 home-services companies, with SearchLight Digital as the implied source). Both are agency-circulated claims, and results vary with market and competition.
