Jobber publishes clear prices: Core is $29 a month billed annually for one user, rising to $399 a month for Plus. Owners usually start looking elsewhere for one of a few reasons. Per-user cost climbs as the crew grows (extra users are $29 a month each). Reviewers describe limited reporting, a map that shows stops as dots without street-level routing, and double-booking without alerts. Some features, such as two-way SMS, sit on higher plans. Jobber is still well rated: 4.6 on Capterra from 1,487 reviews.
The alternatives split into three groups. Housecall Pro, Service Fusion and Kickserv publish prices and suit small teams. ServiceTitan, Workiz and FieldEdge hide prices behind a sales call, which means you cannot compare cost until you have talked to a salesperson. FlashCrafter is a different kind of product: a done-for-you website, CRM, local SEO and set of AI agents, so it addresses getting found and booked rather than dispatching and job costing. Ratings come mostly from Capterra and are shown with review counts. Several vendors have much weaker Trustpilot or app-store scores than their Capterra scores, so both are noted where they differ.
Choose Housecall Pro if you want a similar tool with more users included at the mid tier. Choose Service Fusion if you want unlimited users and month-to-month billing. Choose Kickserv for the lowest published entry price with several users. Choose ServiceTitan only if you are a larger trade shop and can accept a sales-led, contract-heavy purchase. Choose FlashCrafter if your bigger problem is visibility and lead capture rather than scheduling. Stay with Jobber if reporting and routing gaps do not affect how you work. A switch has its own cost in data migration and retraining.

Method
How we compared
- 01
Published pricing: whether the vendor's own page shows prices, what each plan includes and how many users are covered; third-party price claims are noted but not treated as vendor prices.
- 02
Contract and cancellation terms: whether billing is month-to-month or fixed-term, and what reviewers say about renewals and termination fees.
- 03
Ratings: Capterra score and review count are the primary comparison, with Trustpilot, G2 and app-store ratings noted where they differ sharply.
- 04
Reviewer complaints: recurring problems named in reviews on Capterra, G2 and Trustpilot, such as reporting, bugs, support and hidden fees.
- 05
Integrations: QuickBooks support, lead sources such as Angi, Thumbtack and Google Local Services, and payment and financing tools.
Verdict
No single product beats Jobber for everyone. Housecall Pro is the closest swap, with more users included at the mid tier and the highest Capterra rating, but its Trustpilot score is 2.7 and reviewers complain about support and stacked fees. Service Fusion and Kickserv are the other published-price options. Service Fusion has unlimited users and no contract; Kickserv has the lowest entry price and a 30-day trial. ServiceTitan, Workiz and FieldEdge require a sales call to learn the price, and ServiceTitan reviewers raise contract and termination concerns. Choose FlashCrafter if your gap is visibility, reviews and lead capture; it states a month-to-month, no-contract model, but those are its own claims and it is not established that it handles dispatch or job costing. If Jobber's reporting and routing gaps do not affect you, you may not need to switch.
