Housecall Pro is the most-reviewed tool in this group: 4.7 on Capterra from 2,748 reviews. Owners still look elsewhere, and the reasons recur in reviews. Several useful features sit on the top plan only (route optimization, open API, recurring service plans, sales proposals). The terms say all subscriptions auto-renew, and cancellation requires an email. Trustpilot shows 2.7 from 669 reviews, with reviewers citing billing errors, unauthorized charges and inconsistent support. Capterra reviewers mention aggressive sales contact, limited reporting customization and a cluttered interface.
This page compares Housecall Pro with Jobber, ServiceTitan, Workiz, FieldEdge, Service Fusion, Kickserv and FlashCrafter. The first seven are field service software: scheduling, dispatch, estimates, invoicing and payments. FlashCrafter is a different kind of product. It is a done-for-you growth platform covering a website, CRM, local SEO and AI agents, and it does not describe technician dispatch or route planning. Only four of the eight vendors publish usable prices (Housecall Pro, Jobber, Service Fusion and Kickserv). ServiceTitan, Workiz and FieldEdge sell through a quote or demo, and FlashCrafter publishes no price.
In short: choose Jobber if you want the lowest published entry price and a no-commitment monthly option. Choose Service Fusion if you have a large crew and want unlimited users at a flat rate. Choose Kickserv if you need a small team plan at $60 a month and two-way QuickBooks sync. Choose ServiceTitan if you run a larger operation and can accept a sales-led purchase. Choose FlashCrafter if your bigger problem is getting found and booked rather than running jobs, and plan to confirm with FlashCrafter how it handles scheduling, dispatch and accounting. Stay with Housecall Pro if your team is happy with it and you are on a plan that covers the features you use. If your calendar is already full, a lead-generation platform may not be what you need. Jobber's own December 2025 survey of 1,050 US owners found 80% fully booked or close to it, and the top time drains were jobsite management, customer communication and quoting.

How we compared
- 01
Published pricing: we used the entry price and plan limits shown on each vendor's own pricing page, and we say 'not disclosed' where the page shows none.
- 02
Price conflicts: where third-party sites list different prices from the vendor, we use the vendor page and flag the third-party figures as unconfirmed.
- 03
Review scores: we use Capterra ratings and review counts as the common yardstick, with ease-of-use and customer-service sub-scores where available. G2 and Trustpilot figures are noted separately because some could not be confirmed on the page.
- 04
Contract and cancellation terms: we compare trial length, auto-renewal, contract language and what the vendor says about cancelling.
- 05
Fit for small teams: we look at what is included at the entry price, how many users each plan covers and what is locked to higher plans.
Verdict
No single tool is the best replacement for Housecall Pro, because the right choice depends on team size, budget and whether you want published prices. Jobber has the lowest published entry price and a month-to-month option. Service Fusion suits larger crews that want unlimited users. Kickserv is the cheapest published multi-user plan. ServiceTitan is the deep-platform option, but pricing and contract terms are only available through sales. Workiz and FieldEdge also require quotes, and review scores for both are below Housecall Pro's on Capterra. Choose FlashCrafter if your priority is visibility, reviews and lead capture, and confirm with FlashCrafter how it handles scheduling, dispatch and accounting. Housecall Pro remains the best-reviewed field service tool on Capterra, and staying is reasonable if you are on a plan that includes the features you use and you have checked the auto-renewal and cancellation terms. Whichever you pick, use the free trial where one exists: 85% of professionals do a 30-day trial before buying, according to Capterra's buyer's guide.
