GoHighLevel (branded HighLevel) is an all-in-one platform with a CRM, funnels, unified inbox, texting, reviews, booking, invoicing, workflows and AI tools. Its published plans are Starter at $97/mo, Unlimited at $297/mo and Agency Pro at $497/mo, all with unlimited users and contacts. Texts, calls and email are billed by usage on top of the plan. The Starter tier is described on the pricing page as "perfect for freelancers & solo marketers", and the tiers are built around agencies running client sub-accounts. Owners who look for alternatives usually cite the learning curve, the usage-billed phone costs, and, per third-party reviewers (not checked against HighLevel's documentation), the lack of job scheduling, dispatch and native QuickBooks.
The right alternative depends on which problem you are trying to fix. If the pain is running jobs, a field-service tool such as Jobber fits better. In Jobber's 2026 survey of 1,050 U.S. home-service owners, 48% struggled with jobsite management, 40% spent too much time on customer communication and 37% said quoting takes too long. If the pain is being found and chosen, reviews matter: BrightLocal's 2026 survey of 1,002 U.S. adults found 68% require at least 4 stars, 47% will not use a business with fewer than 20 reviews, and 89% expect owners to respond to reviews. If the pain is that nobody on your team has time to configure a platform, a done-for-you provider is the other route. FlashCrafter is one: it states that its CRM is GoHighLevel CRM, fully configured, so it is a managed way to use the same underlying platform rather than a move away from it. These are FlashCrafter's own statements and have not been independently verified.
Pricing transparency, contracts and cancellation differ sharply across these eight products. Jobber, GoHighLevel, Keap, Thryv and HubSpot publish prices. Podium and Birdeye do not, and any figures you see for them elsewhere come from third parties. Reviewer complaints about auto-renewal, notice periods and billing after cancellation recur for Podium, Birdeye, Keap, Thryv and HubSpot, so read the contract before you sign. Review sites also disagree with each other: HubSpot is 4.5 on Capterra and 1.5 on Trustpilot, and Keap is 4.1 and 1.1. This page uses Capterra as the common yardstick and flags Trustpilot where it differs.

Method
How we compared
- 01
Published price: we used the vendor's own page where one exists, with the date, and labeled third-party estimates as unverified when a vendor does not publish a price.
- 02
Total cost beyond the plan: we looked at usage-billed texting, onboarding or implementation fees, extra users and add-ons.
- 03
Fit for service work: we checked for scheduling, quoting, invoicing, payments, review requests and two-way texting.
- 04
Integrations: we checked for QuickBooks Online and field-service connections, since these matter most to trades.
- 05
Contract and cancellation terms: we compared stated terms and recurring reviewer complaints about auto-renewal and billing after cancellation.
Verdict
No single product replaces GoHighLevel for every service business. Choose Jobber if your day is lost to scheduling, quoting, invoicing and chasing payment: it publishes its prices, syncs with QuickBooks Online from Connect and has the strongest Capterra record here (4.6 from 1,487 reviews). Choose FlashCrafter if you want your website, CRM, local SEO, review requests and missed-call handling set up and run for you, and you are comfortable relying on its own statements (no contracts, exportable website, one client per trade per city) until you have verified them in a conversation. Jobber is the better fit than FlashCrafter if the job-management side is the problem, because FlashCrafter's job scheduling, dispatch and QuickBooks sync are not established. Stay on GoHighLevel if it is already configured and working, or if someone on your team can own it; its $97/mo entry price and unlimited users are real advantages, but budget for usage-billed texting and A2P registration. A business that mainly needs customer records may need none of these: HubSpot's free CRM covers 2 users and 1,000 contacts. Podium and Birdeye are worth a quote if reviews and messaging are the whole problem, but neither publishes prices, and read cancellation terms first, as should anyone considering Keap or Thryv given their Trustpilot ratings of 1.1 and 2.6.
