Method
We separated public website needs from confidential client workflows, including document exchange, payments and onboarding.
We compared editing effort, managed assistance, maintained accounting content, search tools and documented integration methods.
We checked billing terms, regional prices, add-ons, storage and material plan limits as observed in October 2026.
We treated customer ratings as product-wide samples and attributed FlashCrafter’s public service claims without independent verification.
Verdict
Our recommendation
Our recommendation is to start with GetNetSet when maintained tax content and client file exchange are central. Use Wix when owner editing and appointment booking matter more.
The decisive choice is who maintains the public website and where confidential client work takes place. GetNetSet bundles accounting content and managed updates; Wix gives owners direct control over pages and bookings. WordPress offers flexibility with maintenance responsibilities. FlashCrafter fits firms seeking managed website, CRM, local SEO and tailored AI solutions together, subject to availability. An adequate existing site can instead link to a dedicated portal or add accounting content without a complete rebuild.
Managed accounting website
GetNetSet
Choose GetNetSet when maintained tax resources, newsletters, website updates and a file portal would otherwise require separate administration. Check HTTPS costs, storage needs and payment-service fees before comparing the full recurring bill.
See GetNetSetOwner-managed website and bookings
Wix
Choose Wix when someone inside the firm will maintain service pages, inquiry forms and appointment availability. Core adds bookings and payments; confirm U.S. checkout pricing and budget separately for communication tools.
See WixFlexible content and plugins
WordPress
Choose WordPress when the firm has a developer or maintenance arrangement and needs flexibility in content, hosting or plugins. Distinguish hosted WordPress.com costs from a WordPress.org installation’s separate hosting and service purchases.
